We use the information we collect to process and fulfill your orders, send you your location research list via email, communicate with you about your order status, improve our service and user experience, and comply with legal obligations.
Our location research lists contain business information (such as business names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, ratings, and other details) that is aggregated from publicly available sources, including Google Places API, publicly accessible business websites, and public business directories. This information relates to businesses and their publicly listed contact details, not to private individuals. We do not collect or include any non-public personal information in our research lists.
We use the following third-party services to operate:
Stripe processes all payments. Your payment details are handled by Stripe under their privacy policy. Resend handles email delivery. Supabase provides our database infrastructure. Vercel hosts our website. Google Places API provides publicly available location data used in our research. Google Gemini provides AI-generated insights and scoring.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We retain order records (name, email, zip code, plan purchased) for accounting and support purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@placementscout.ai. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.
